On 21st April, Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort*****, the 750-acre luxury resort situated in the heart of Provence, will celebrate the reopening its gourmet restaurant “Le Faventia”, a Latin word that means “sweetness of life”.
The new Executive Chef, Philippe Jourdin (MOF 1993), will also be revealing a new menu. The Chef took up the position in February 2015, after having worked in the prestigious kitchens at the resort between 2003 and 2010, where he received two Michelin stars and three toques by Gault Millau.
Jourdin’s generous and inventive, “sunny cuisine”, is inspired by Mediterranean flavours and will ensure Terre Blanche will continue to be a leading gourmet destination.
Terre Blanche has also recently created “The Garden of Scents”, which offers aromatic herbs used in Chef Philippe Jourdin’s dishes. Integrated fully with the surrounding natural landscape, it is only accessible down a secret path between Suites and Villas. The garden offers thyme, oregano, savory, coriander as well as 13 other herb varieties.
