Our first barman at the Gaudina lounge, Sebastien, is delighted to share with you a delicious cocktail recipe, exclusively created for you in order to celebrate this special occasion!

Here is the recipe:

MATERIAL :

Martini cocktail glass, pastry cutter or a knife, Boston cocktail shaker, small sieve, juicer, slate platters, toothpicks

 

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:

  • Vodka
  • Infused hibiscus flower
  • Victoria pineapple
  • Cranberry juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime
  • Cane sugar syrup
  • Blackberries
  • Blueberries

 

DECORATION :

  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Pineapple leaves
  • Bunches of red currant or cranberry
  • Orange zest, flower-shaped
  • Icing sugar

 

GLASS DECORATING:

Cut two pineapple leaves, 10 cm each. Take an orange peel and cut it in a flower shape. Cut a quarter of lime.

Prick with a toothpick in the following order:

  • A quarter of lime
  • Pineapple leaves
  • Orange zest
  • One red currant or one cranberry

 

PLATTER DECORATING:

Arrange two cinnamon sticks, 5 cm each. Put one zest of lemon previously cut in a holly leaf shape. Gently leave a bunch of red currant or cranberry. Add the icing sugar on top with a small sieve.

 

COCKTAIL PREPARATION (PER GLASS):

Hibiscus flowers need to be infused in cold water 24 hours before the cocktail preparation.

In the juicer, mix pineapple juice with 1/10 of the hibiscus flowers infusion.

Put ice cubes in the glass.

Grind one blackberry and two blueberries in the shaker.

In the shaker, pour 3 cl of  hibiscus-pineapple juice, filtering it with a small sieve.

Add 5 cl of vodka, 2 cl of cranberry juice and one teaspoon of cane sugar.

Add 4 ice cubes and shake it.

Remove the ice cubes from the glass.

Pour the cocktail in the glass, filtering it again.
